HISTORY |
| The beginnings of Table
tennis, also known as Ping Pong, are vague and we really don't know when it was
played for the first time. In 1870 in England they began to play a game similar
to tennis. In 1910, in England, they held Table Tennis tournaments with up to
300 players participating. |

| In 1922 the sport was
known in nearly all Europe. In 1926 the English Table Tennis Association was
founded and new rules were established. When this association was founded the
first World Table Tennis championship was organised. It was a huge
success. |

| Los principios del
Tenis de Mesa son oscuros y no se sabe con certeza cuando se practicó
por primera vez. En la década de 1.870 surgió en Inglaterra como
una derivación del Tenis. En 1.901 se celebraron en Inglaterra Torneos
de Ping-Pong con participación de hasta 300 jugadores |
| En 1.922 ya se
conocía en Europa. En el año 1.926 se funda la Asociación
Inglesa de Tenis de Mesa con nuevas reglas. Cuando se fundo esta
Asociación se organizo I Campeonato del Mundo en Londres, que tuvo un
gran éxito. |
| GAME |
| You can play the game
in singles or in doubles. After football it's the most practiced sport in the
world. It's a good way of relaxing and it helps children's concentration. |
| The racquets are made
of wood and the ball measures 40 mm and it's normally white or orange. The
tables are 2.74m x 1.525m long and 76 cm high. The player who scores 11 points
wins the match. |

| Se puede jugar en forma
individual o en dobles. Es después el fútbol, el deporte mas
practicado del mundo. Es un buen medio de relajación y ayuda a la
concentración de los niños. |

mesas tienen una longitud de 2,74m x 1,525m y una altura de 76cm. Ganará
un juego el jugador o pareja que primero alcance 11 tantos. |
