| In the Pilar Festival
there are a lot of bullfights, where the most popular bullfighters meet in
Saragossa. Many people go to see them. If the kill of the bull is a clean kill
the bullfighter is awarded with the bull's ears and the tail as a trophy. |
| The bullring in
Saragossa was built in the eighteenth century by Ramón Pignatelli, it is
very big and when there are very important bullfights it gets full. Usually the
bullfights are on the afternoon and each bullfighter fights two bulls. |
| The bullfighters wear a
suit that is a very pretty and it's made of silk with gold or silver
adornments, it's called a suit of lights. |

Pilar de Zaragoza hay muchas corridas de toros en las que se reúnen
muchos de los más famosos toreros. Hay mucha afición a ver las
corridas de toros. |
| Cuando se mata bien al
toro se le cortan las orejas y el rabo como trofeo. |
| La plaza de toros de
Zaragoza, La Misericordia, se construyó en el siglo XVIII gracias a
Ramón Pignatelli. Es muy grande y cuenta con muchos aficionados a esta
fiesta nacional. |
| Las plazas de toros son
redondas. Las corridas se celebran por las tardes y cada torero torea varios
toros. |
| El traje de los toreros
es muy bonito, es de seda con adornos brillantes de oro o plata y debido a eso
se llama trajes de luces. |
