| The vaquillas begin at
eight o'clock in the morning and finishes at ten o'clock. The night before the
peñas go out to have fun. There is a musical group, that play, while
everybody dances. The bullring's name is Nuestra Señora de la
Misericordia .The inside part of the bullring is called the albero. In the
centre they place a stage for the people to jump on when the cows come in.
There is a commentator who tells us everything that is happening. One year the
tickets were very expensive so nobody went. Now they only cost about three
euros. The peñas don't pay anything because they pay a bono. Some people
buy the tickets for 3 euros but afterwards they sell them for 4 or 5 euros.
There is a lot of security such as police and ambulances. At nine o'clock
people eat the breakfast that they have brought with them. There is a man that
sells revuelto which is anis with muscatel. There is also a who sells coca-cola
from a big jar. |
| To get the cow to go
back inside bring a bullock is brought into the ring and the cow will then
follow it out. Some boys when the cow is charging stand in front of it looking
over their shoulders and when they see the cow they run. These are our
vaquillas in the PILAR FESTIVAL. |

| Las vaquillas comienzan
a las ocho de la mañana y acaban a las diez. Por la noche las
peñas salen de fiesta. En la plaza hay un grupo de charanga, que cuando
tocan todo el mundo se pone de pie y baila. La plaza de toros de Zaragoza se
llama Nuestra Señora de la Misericordia. La parte interior de la plaza
se llama albero. En el centro del albero ponen un escenario para que la gente
se suba. Hay un señor que relata lo que va sucediendo por
megafonía. El precio es de 3 euros la entrada, las peñas pagan un
bono. |
| Hay mucha seguridad,
policia nacional, cruz roja. Cuando sale alguien y recorta a la vaca la gente
aplaude. A las nueve la gente empieza a sacar el almuerzo, (el bocadillo, la
longaniza, el vino, etc.) suele haber muchas cogidas. |
| Hace cinco años
la peñas "los marinos" fueron con harina y se la tiraron a la gente y
por castigo no pudieron entrar hasta pasados cuatro años. Hay gente que
cuando sale la vaca se pone de rodillas, y cuando ven a la vaca se van
corriendo. Hay un señor que va vendiendo coca-cola en una garrafa y con
un cazo, y otro con revuelto que es anís con moscatel. Para recoger a la
vaca sueltan un manso y la vaca le sigue a la cuadra. |
